Space

I thought it only fitting that the first "real" post to my site in quite some time would feature some of my early efforts at astrophotography.  These pics were taken with a Meade LPI or Lunar Planetary Imager connected to a 8" Meade LX200 GPS scope.  Yep, they are a little rough, but you should have seen my first efforts.

I still marvel at how something so far away can be seen so clearly from my back yard.  I'm looking forward to fine tuning the Deep Sky Imager and getting some better shots from it.  The universe is an incredible place.
